Troy Burton and Doris Karren fell in love and were married on March 29, 1951. Troy is the son of Charles and Norma Caldwell Burton. Doris is the daughter of Victor and Stella Boren Karren. Troy was a skilled carpenter and built their home. Doris became the Uintah County librarian and the founder of the Uintah County Regional History Center. They both were very talented musicians and played different instruments. They were both became important citizens of the area. Doris died June 17, 2015 and Troy died April 8, 2019. |
