Typescript of two versions (4 and 10 pages) of a speech given by Marriner S. Eccles on 14 August 1947 at the Regional Conference on World Affairs, held by the University of Utah's Institute of World Affairs. The speech was entitled "The postwar foreign lending program of the United States." Also includes correspondence connected with his attendance at the conference, a copy of the resolution adopted on 19 June 1947 by the University of Utah's Board of Regents, an draft agenda and a printed program for the conference held on 14 and 15 August 1947, and letters following the conference, some of which requested copies of the speech.
