| Description |
A portion of Juanita Brooks' notes on Jacob Hamblin. Includes transcribed journal of Jacob Hamblin "from the original journal in the files of the L.D.S. Church Historian", Salt Lake City (Utah). The journal, which was written in an old notebook, consists of two initial pages, both sides of which are blank except for a penciled note, "Jacob Hamblin's Journal, 1854-1855-1856-1857" on the front leaf of each of the two sheets, and in another handwriting than Hamblin's (probably Andrew Jenson's), and 56 additional numbered pages. Pages 106 are missing, as are pages 39-40. Copies are undated. |
