Description |
Blue Mountain folks gathered at Luxen where there was a beautiful meadow, set in a draw, surrounded by hills with some aspen groves. Each year men rounded up the cattle and corralled them for branding. There were ropers, flankers, and several hundred head of cattle. the calves were snaked from the herd to be branded and vaccinated. At noon a big picnic was held by the spring in the green meadow grass around the house. The ice cold spring was full of beer and soda pop. ; ] |
