From the Builders of Uintah DUP Book, Page 18--In 1879 George and Jenny Lind Freestone came to the Ashley Valley by mule team. They built the first frame house. Theirs was the first farm that was fenced. They planted the first nusery of fruit and shade trees and supplied the settlers for several years. |
