Ira and Hattie Burton are picture with their children. From left are, Ira, Hatthie, Clare, Fritz, Marie, Charley, Nola, and Carrie. Neva, another daughter, is not pictured. Ira was a ferry man, owning and running a ferry in Jensen. He owned the Burton Resort before selling and moving to the Little Water Ranch near Mosby Mountain. He was born in 1862 and died July 17, 1941. Hattie was born in 1867 and died January 27, 1953. |
