Description |
Delta women of the Jolly Snitchers Club, a group that reached out to women in isolated farm communities, gathered for the 22nd anniversary of the organization. Settled in 1906, and first called Akin, then Burtner, Melville, and finally Delta, the area owes such of its growth to several irrigation projects and a successful land development campaign. |
