The Hopi silversmith is unsurpassed as a skilled craftsman, primarily concerned with beauty of design and meticulous workmanship to achieve the restrained loveliness of Hopi jewelry. Turquoise is used sparingly. Here the smith solders the cut design to the blank under-plate to fashiona typical overlay bracelet.
