Description |
Henry (Hank) Stewart is pictured with his horse at his ranch at Sand Wash where he ran a ferry business over the Green River. In 1937 Hank was taking equipment across the river when the weight of the equipment toppled the ferry over in the river and caused his death by drowning. He was a hardworker and a friend to the Ute people. He was the husband of Elsie Wardle. He was born May 1, 1869 and died May 18, 1937. |
