Description | Byron Thomas (1889-1977) contracted with the Uintah School District as a school bus driver. He offered to bus the children from the Dry Fork area down to the Maeser and Vernal schools. He was also one of the first owners, along with T. G. Alexander, of a service station in the Cobble Rock Corner Service. The Cobble Rock station was rated the most up-to-date station between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Denver, Colorado. |
