Description |
Record crowds attended the Uintah Basin Industrial Convention (UBIC) held in Fort Duchesne. Ray Dillman, UBIC President, along with county agent E. Peterson and Superintendant Tidwell of the Indian agency, made the three day convention a great success. The three days were filled with meetings and activities on livestock, agriculture and forestry that represented a common problem among the residents of the Basin. The 4-H Club displayed animals and crafts. The Ute Indians presented their tribal dances, music and legend. School Bands performed and the military band for Fort Douglas performed. Children are kept entertained with playground equipment. |
