| Description |
Dr. George Christy came to Vernal to practice medicine in 1907. He served as an army surgeon in 1917. He returned home in 1919 to a flu epidemic in which his mediical services were needed. He was involved in the first Uintah County Medical Association. He was appointed city physician in 1933. The following year he suffered a heart attack and died in 1934. |
