Description |
Castle Gate Mine No. 11. The man on the right is Joseph Saretakis, on the left, John Psarovdakis, both immigrants from Crete. Soon after this picture was taken both lost their lives during the 1924 mine explosion. 172 men were killed and 417 dependences left. |
