Folks started dredging for gold in the Green River in 1909. By 1916 several placer claims were leases by Tom Harkins of Craig, Colorado. They were still dredging for gold in 1924. Several people stand near the site one of the claims. These folks are some of the Stewart Family from Jensen, Utah. |
