Description |
Miss Esther Campbell was born October 16, 1899 in Harmony, Minnesota. She moved west in 1922 as she was hired a school teacher in western Moffat County, Skull Creek. She married Duward Campbell in 1923 and remained in the Uinta Basin teaching a various schools in Colorado. She lived at Brown's Park at the Jarvie Ranch where she and her husband raised Palomino horses. Duward passed away in 1974 and Esther sold the Jarvie Ranch to the Department of Interior. She moved to a home on 1500 North in Maeser, Utah. She passed away on May 7, 1995 and is buried in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
