Description |
An unidentified, Native American man poses for a full-length, studio portrait. He wears a feather headdress and a large woven blanket over his shoulders. He stands on a bear skin rug, wears beaded moccasins, and holds a long pipe in his left hand. A long, beaded pouch hangs from his hip next to another thinner beaded strap from which a cluster of long hair dangles. A thin stick resembling an arrow sticks up from his headdress. His long braids fall down to his waist and ; are tied with beaded straps. Additional feathers dangle from his headdress along with two strands adorned with talons |
