The Snake Creek hydroelectric plant was installed in 1909 by the Knight Consolidated Power Company. The plant was 7 miles northwest of Heber City, and the main intake point for the headworks was on Lavina Creek. From a book of photos with title: Electric plants and systems near Salt Lake City-not including Telluride Power Co., which was compiled by J. E. Moore in May 1912 for L. L. Nunn (head of Telluride Power) |
