On a sunny afternoon in 1908, citizens of the community gathered on the north side of Uintah Avenue in front of the Vernal Meat Market, Leslie Ashton Hardware Store, over the hardware store was the Vernal Express, then on to the post office and then the Bank of Vernal. Uintah Avenue later became the Main Street of Vernal. The photo was taken by Delos Trim. |
