Description Native American (Shoshone) men participate in a Sun Dance in a brush enclosure. The men blow eagle bone whistles decorated with feathers as they dance near the center pole. A bundle of dried foliage, the Thunder's Nest, is tied to the center pole. The men wear kilts and beaded necklaces. Spectators stand near the edge of the brush enclosure.
