Description |
Headgate with with self-cleaning screens invented and patented by William B. Erekson. It was used at his fish hatchery at 661 Vine Street. The revolving paddle on the inside of the screen prevented clogging of debris and allowed the water to flow freely. See page 302 of The History of Murray City, Utah 1976 |
