E.W. Davis was a merchant in the Uinta Basin. He has a store in Soberton, Utah. This was 2 miles east of Fort Duchesne. By 1999 he had moved his store to Vernal. The store was a general store with many household items being sold there. He brought freight from Price to Vernal over the Nine Mile road with the wagon shown here. Standing to the side of the wagon are E.W. Davis, William Henderson, and Arthur Mede. G Curtis and Floyd Davis are on the wagon. |
