| Description | Isaac Burton Jr. -- Born 17 Jun 1866 to Isaac and Clara Bartlett in the Sugarhouse Ward, SLC. He came to Ashley Valley at age 17and became one of the first mail carriers over the mountain to Green River City through Brown's Park. He later operated the ferry at Jensen, Utah. They left Vernal about 1943, moving to Los Angeles, California. They had no children but adopted Jennie Burton Powell who was the daughter of his brother, Alonzo. |
