Description |
Nathan Cutler Davis came to the Ashley Valley in 1880. He was a counselor in the first Uintah Stake Presidency. He served as County Commissioner and was among a group that started the Ashley Co-operative. This portrait represents a time when he was traveling through the cedars northwest of the Valley when his dog treed a wildcat. He took a cedar club and killed the cat. He was born in 1816 and died in June 2000 in Vernal. |
