Typed transcript (31 pages) of an autobiography of George Lake in 1888 and transcribed by Claude Nelson McMillan in 1958; and a shorter sketch by George Lake, transcribed by Sarah T. Brimhall Foley on Dec. 16, 1917. The longer account includes details of George Lake's mission to England and his participation in the settlement of the Little Colorado River area. He was head of the company that founded Obed and later lived in Mexico. |
