Description |
John Jarvie was born in 1844. He came into the Uinta Basin and landed in Brown's Park. Here he owned and mamaged a store and owned a ferry that shuttled people and livestock across the Green River. He also operated a mine and mint where he minted his own coins. He was murdered at his store and died July 6, 1909. |
