Karl Shisler

Karl Shisler, Ballard mayor, received a Distinguished Service Award from the Utah State University of Agriculture. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership abilities in the following positions: president of Dry Gulch Irrigation Company, Chairman of Uintah County Committee, president of Utah-South Idaho Farmers Union, Utah Agricultural Landowners Assoication, board of National Farmers Union, chairman of Utah Agricultural Advisory Board, Utah Energy Conservation Commission, National Grain Advisory Board, National Grain Advisory Board, National Agriculture Census Barod and State Textbook and Course Study Commission.
