Edward Jones Young

Edward Jones Young Jr. celebrated his 80th birthday. He was born April 5, 1881 to Edward J. and Esther Dunster Young. He moved to the Ashley Valley with his family in 1887. He married May Pope August 19, 1903. She died ten years later in 1913. He served the community as the Uintah County Treasurer. He was also an accountant for Ashley Cooperative, Vernal City, and the Ashley Irrigation Company. He married Effie Lyon Huffman, they divorced and later he married Mittie Moore. He was appointed manager of the Federal Emergency Relief Administration for Uintah County. He later moved to Salt Lake City.
