Abstract Mr. Kay Hargis has had three careers over the span of his working life. He was in the United States Army for 33 years, and worked in law enforcement for 27 years. After retirement from the military and law enforcement, Mr. Hargis began volunteering for multiple organizations, including: The Union Station Museum, The Browning Gun Museum, Hill Air Force Base Aerospace Museum, the Department of Defense organization called the Employer Support of the Guard Reserve, and for the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. He's also a pilot that used to do traffic reports for a local station. He tells stories of his time on the police force, as well as war stories he knows from working in museums.
