Time: 2:30 PM; Air Temp: 50 degrees F; Wind: 1 to 3 mph; Humidity: 39%; Elevation: 182 feet; sunny skies; frogs were in a flooded roadside ditch near a creek on the edge of a large agricultural field; two large egg masses were present in the ditch; frogs were responding to playback calls; airborne calling was extremely sparse and only came in response to playback; a hydrophone did not pick up any significant underwater calling.
