The Jim Bridger Power Station is a 2,120-megawatt facility that is one of the largest coal-fired electric power generation facilities in the western Untited States. Commissioned in 1974, it is operated by PacifiCorp (parent company of Rocky Mountain Power), and co-owns it along with Idaho Power. It is supplied by the nearby Jim Bridger Coal Mine. They are located about four miles north of Point of Rocks in Sweetwater County, Wyoming |
