"Faith Petric was an extraordinary woman. She was born in a log cabin in Idaho where her father was a Methodist minister. Her first experiences with music were through hymns, and even then she loved raising her voice to sing. She attended Whitman College in the wake of the Great Depression, graduating in 1937." |
