Scans of letters to and from Federal Reserve member Marriner S. Eccles regarding an off-the-record speech he gave at New York University's honorary finance society, Phi Alpha Kappa, on 18 February 1949. Most of the letters involved arranging for his participation, and two following the event were letters of thanks. The speech was about the problem of inflation and monetary controls.
