Album of the Park City, Utah mining activity taken by James H. Crockwell (1 of 2). Souvenir of Park City Her Mines, Mining and pleasure resorts. J. H. Crockwell View Photographer. Oblong view album of Crockwell albumen photographs of Park City and vicinity. Album contains 16 stiff leaves with 32 boudoir (5"x8") albumen photographs of Park City mines and views, and excursions into Midway and Big Cottonwood Canyon. All 32 images are by James H Crockwell. a prominent Utah mining photographer in the 19th century. Total of 32 albumen photographs. Several of the views have ink notations in the margins identifying the numerous Park City mines and mills, as well as identifying various buildings and locales in and around greater Park City. |
