Tolosa described a patient with unilateral pain, opthalmoplegia, impaired trigeminal sensation, and visual loss. The intracavemous carotid on the affected side was narrowed. Three days after a nondiagnostic craniotomy the patient died. Granulomatous inflammation was found in the cavernous sinus at autopsy. |
