Description |
Buffalo Please credit the Bureau of Reclamation if photo is reproduced. P66-400-3040A Central Utah Project--Utah. Buffalo still roam in the West but only through the efforts of those who make an effort to preserve them. A small herd of four buffalo is being kept just for public enjoyment on the farm of G. Marion Hinckley west of Provo, Utah. A sign at the edge of the field says ""Give Indian and Buffalo Right of Way, Let's Help Perpetuate Them Both, These Buffalo are Here for Your Enjoyment, Please do not Molest." Mr. Hinckley also keeps a fine herd of dairy cows on his irrigated farm. 5/18/66 Bureau of Reclamation Photo by Mel Davis |
