Glenn Cooper was a prominent citizen in Vernal. He is the son of Rice and Hester Sowards Cooper and stepson of Edith Cooper. He married Mildred Evelyn Owens. Glenn owned Vernal Drug Company and was the pharmacist there. He founded the Cedar Springs Boat Marina at Flaming Gorge and Dinah Bowl in Vernal. He was a civic leader in the community and served in many organizations. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was born September 1, 1919 and died February 23, 1999. |
