| Description |
Denver and Rio Grande Western RR dome dormitory / buffet / lounge car #1140 Silver Shop, built in 1948 by the Budd Company of Red Lion, PA for use on California Zephyr. Car had 24 seats in dome for use by Pullman car passengers. Buffet provided light meals and drinks for passengers as well as a dormitory for coach porters, dining car crew stewards and Zephyrettes (hostesses).
