Show This is a photograph of the Presbyterian Church Gospel tent at Parowan, Utah. The photograph shows the long side of the tent with ropes coming away from the tent to provide stability. The tent flaps are open at the left end of the tent and there is an American flag above the tent opening. A picket fence and row of trees can be seen behind the tent. Twelve people (five men, two girls, two boys and three women) are standing on the left side of the photograph in front of the tent. They are all well dressed in their Sunday best. <br><br> |

The photograph is in good condition. The photograph has been mounted on a cardboard backing that has gold trimming around the edge. There is a gold trim around the edge of the paper. The photograph is slightly warped. The following is written on the back of the photograph: "The Gospel Tent at Parowan. Presbyterian Church Missionaries ca. 1899." Along this side of the photograph "S-2" is written in pencil. |
