Black and white photograph that appears to be attached to a paper. The photo is Chief Ouray, sitting in a photo studio. He has his hands in his lap and looks at the camera. Above the photograph is a typed note which reads: "Chief Ouray at 35. Picture given to John McIntyre by Chief Ouray. Mrs. Rosa Lines now has one of same pictures. McIntyre helped drive government cattle into Gunnison county with Lon Hartman back in 1876 and Ouray gave this picture to him then. One of only few in existence." |
