Description |
I had long hair until I was 19. My stepmother convinced me to get it cut short, and I never looked back. I love the convenience of short hair- and also the way it looks. In March 2020, I stopped going to get my hair cut, because it seemed like an unnecessary risk. As my hair got longer, I had to invest in barrettes and hair ties and headbands again- all that stuff I had completely forgotten how to use. I got used to it, but it was definitely an annoying time sink, especially getting ready to exercise. My stylist has a small salon. In June 2021, they were all vaccinated and wearing masks, cases were low, and I was fed up with my hot, annoying ponytail, so I got my hair cut short again. To commemorate the joy and freedom of that day, I am contributing some of the hair trappings I no longer need. |
