Description For more than a decade, Dutch students have come to study and work in the laboratories of U of U artificial organs pioneer Willem J. Kolff, M.D., Ph.D. This year, the Netherlands Heart Foundation recognized the Kolff Laboratory as the equivalent of a Dutch institute of higher education and announced a scholarship to support the continued student exchange.
