The Utah men's golf team wrapped up its last tournament of 2019 by finishing in 12th place at the Saint Mary's Invitational. The team shot 5-over par (289) on the final 18 holes to give them a tournament score of 16-over par (866). Mitchell Schow after he shot 3-under par (68) in the third round, the fourth time this season he has shot under 70 in a round. He was able to rise 18 spots on the leader board to finish in a tie for sixth overall (4-under par, 209), finishing in the top 10 for the second time this season. Junior Blake Tomlinson was the second-highest ranked Ute, sitting in a tie for 29th after shooting 1-over par (214) after three rounds. Tomlinson shot 1-over par (72) on the final 18 holes. Tristan Mandur finished tied for 60th, carding 5-over par (76) in the final round to give him a tournament score of 7-over par (220). Redshirt sophomore Colton Tanner finished the tournament as Utah's individual competitor, shooting 8-over par (221) to tie for 63rd in the tournament after carding 5-over par (76) on the final 18. True freshman Jesper von Reedtz saved his best round for last, carding 2-over par (73) which allowed him to climb up the leader board by seven spots. For the tournament, he shot 13-over par (226) to tie for 75th. Jordan Costello was Utah's final competitor, but he sustained a wrist injury on the course and was unable to play the final nine holes of the third round. |
