Novalis' Hymns to the Night

My Senior Honors Project evolved out of my interests and skills in literature and languages. I was an English major beginning a German minor, with a notion of a career as a translator. Translating a German literary text into English seemed like a good exercise to creatively combine my skills in literary criticism and analysis with my growing knowledge of the German language. I also hoped to develop new skills that would serve me in the future.
