Description |
Kimberly resident housing at Kimberly, Utah. Most of the young married people lived in house tents such as the one shown. Single men lived in houses made like the side of this tent. Couple shown are parents of the donor at the time of their marriage in 1901. No names available. Kimberly was a mining town where gold, silver, lead, and copper were mined. Mining resources dwindled quickly, however, and the town was abandoned in 1938. |
