Title |
Understanding GNARly planning challenges in gateway communities: Moab, UT case study |
Date |
2022 |
Description |
The City of Moab is amid navigating the complexities of interconnected housing, transportation, and land use planning challenges. As the City has not had a strong and clear community vision guiding elected officials, decision-makers, and city staff, these challenges have become extreme and overwhelming. Thus, the current planning dynamic has been more retroactive than proactive. However, the City of Moab and Grand County are currently working on various plan updates and projects that will hopefully assist in their efforts to plan for the future. |
