The Adams Band Wagon 1896 was recreated to be used as a float in the Utah Centennial Parade in Vernal, Utah. The float put together by the Second Ward and was drawn by four horses. The men on the float are unidentified. The businesses in the background are the Commercial Hotel Coffee Shop, Westinghouse Appliances (Searle Electric Appliance Company), Vernal Office Free Museum, and the Save-A-Nickel Market. Note the Utah Centennial Parade banners flying over the street. This photograph is one of the frames in the roll of negatives that is cataloged under the accession number RHC.2023.02.01. |
