Collection Overview +/-
Collection Inventory +/-Biographical Note/Historical Note +/-The Nightingale Building is the former home of the campus library. Dedicated as Nightingale Memorial Library on December 7, 1964, during President W. Fred Arbogast's term (1963 to 1968), it was named to honor William T. Nightingale, late trustee, for his service to Westminster College and its community. The campus library moved to a new building, the Giovale Library, in 1997. As part of the opening ceremonies, books were handed down a line of students, staff and faculty from the old Nightingale Library to Giovale. Content Description +/-This collection consists of forms listing the publications of Westminster College of Salt Lake City received by the Nightingale Library during a specified week. The materials date from 1985-1990. The checklists include the week and year, office sending publication to the library, an indication whether it was a continuing publication (for example, Campus Courier and Newscope), and a list and description (with date) of publications received.
