Men and women of Utah National Guard pay respect the Doughboy on the county grounds during the statues rededication. The statue was recently moved to the front the the county library near Main Street. It had previously been located to the rear of the county courtyard near the city swimming pool. Project chairperson, Alice White, said, "Rededication of this Memorial Doughboy is not a tribute to war, rather an expression of appreciation to those who fulfilled their duty by serving their country." |
