"In their capstone project, Quinn took on the world of editorial illustration, creating eight images and related articles for topics that interested them. These are the selected works they have chosen to display." From the artist. The stories include; "The Pope is Dope", with an illustration of the pope skateboarding; "Pasta Mystery", with an image of a flood of spaghetti descending over the woods and smothering a house; "Biden's War on Gaza", with a portrait of Joe Biden in front of a burning city; "The Future of Measure 110", with an illustration of a cuffed hand being shot with a needle as it is restrained. These pieces were displayed as part of the 2024 Illustration Capstone exhibition. |
