Letters from Allen H. Lundgren in Germany and France to wife Ruth in Salt Lake City during June of 1945, while serving in the U.S. Army's Counter Intelligence Corps during World War II. The first letter dated June 6, Allen expresses alarm at how his activities portrayed in a Salt Lake Tribune article (issue of May 24, 1945, p. 11) about the Josef Arens lithographs mentioned in the letter of March 30 to his parents.
